Contract Manufacturing

For over a decade, D.B.M. has been committed to researching and developing new medical devices for various clinical applications, including gynaecology, aesthetics and orthopaedics. Its primary objective is to successfully fulfil the business development process of its Italian and international customers.

The production facility

The production activities are organised over a total area of more than 5,000 square metres. Just a stone’s throw from the historical site, the new facility is equipped with a modern preparation room, and high-quality clean rooms where processes including moist-heat terminal sterilisation are carried out.

D.B.M. also offers support for customer projects requiring gamma terminal sterilisation.

Syringe and bottle filling

D.B.M.’s filling business encompasses a wide range of materials:

  • glass syringes and bottles from 1 ml to 10 ml
  • syringes in various plastic polymers, including PP, COC and COP.

The company has a total production capacity of up to 20 million pieces per year, with filling volumes per unit of 0.5 ml to 60 ml.

D.B.M. employs a workforce of more than 40 highly skilled professionals across various departments, including the Production, Research and Development, Preparation Room, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Validation and Technical departments.

It harnesses this expertise to collaborate actively with its customers, from the initial idea through to the final stage of registering the medical device, including drafting the Instructions for Use and managing clinical trials.
